Before and After 2012 Edition

You may remember this gorgeous model, Sarah Brown, from my 2011 NovaLash Video.  She's fun, super chill, and definitely a beautiful face you're going to be seeing around (Stay tuned for the Chiquita Banana Chip Commerical!). I loved working with her so much on my video, that I invited her back this year for NovaLash Take II: 2012 Edition. This time, it was for a photo shoot.

All I can say is: WOW.  Here's a sneak peak at a before and after photo from the session.  Don't worry. More pics to come!

Men With Long Lashes = Real or Extensions?

Some men are born with great lashes (seriously!), but don't jump to conclusions.  You never know, those lashes on your male co-worker might be NovaLashes.  Yes, ladies, it's true.  Men can lash out and be damn sexy doing it.  

Their reasons are varied--but let's not judge!  NovaLash eyelashes are so fabulous, I think everyone should have them.  Sometimes, in the heat of the moment, I look at my hubs when I kiss him and fantasize about putting lash extensions on him.  (Don't tell him I said that.  I'm sure he'd prefer I'd be fantasizing about something else more romantic.  Wah-wah!)

I Love Client Lash Photos!

Kristine's Long Lashes

As you may have noticed from my previous posts (or from looking at my before and after photo page), I always take before and after photos of my clients (and then text or email my clients the pictures).  And although my smartphone photos get the job done (I'm a lash artist, not a photographer), they don't really show off my clients' personalities and flair.  So, I have an open invitation to all my clients to send me their own pictures of their NovaLashed eyes.  I LOVE these photos!! (So, all my clients reading this blog, get out your cameras and send me those lash pics!!)

Which brings me to Kristine--a smart, gorgeous girl with a big personality--who sent me some of her own lash photos this week after I applied a full set on her!  And although I knew her (sort of) before becoming her lash artist, I felt honored to get to know her on a personal level while giving her some SERIOUS FAB-U-LASHES!  Kristine came in wanting the biggest, most glamorous lashes I could give her..so we went ALL OUT!!!  Check out these lashes and Kristine's amazing look!

Before every lash application, I always consult with my clients about the look they desire for their lashes.  Most clients start out wanting modest lashes, medium thickness and length, not too much curl--very professional, natural looking lashes.  I love doing this type of application.

However, when a client comes in for her consultation and says, "Give me the BIGGEST DIVA Lashes you have," I get super stoked.  I LOVE long, thick, full lashes that people can't take their eyes off of!!  And I especially love giving clients (who want this this look) these SHOW-STOPPING Lashes!!  These are the super fabulous lashes that my beautiful new client, Chelsea, asked for.  Chelsea is a gorgeous girl--inside and out--and it was a pleasure meeting her!  Even though my cell phone camera doesn't do her eyes justice, here is a glimpse at her before and after look:

Lash Ambassador for Miami U

This is my debut guest appearance on Amy’s blog and I am so excited!! My name is Katie and Amy, of Love Those Lashes, LLC,  has picked me to be a Lash Ambassador for Miami University. My job is to talk about how awesome NovaLash lashes are and encourage other girls to try them out. In order to do this, I had to get fabulash lashes of my own. I was a little apprehensive about getting them because you have to keep your eyes closed during the process, but Amy talked me through everything she was doing and explained to me that NovaLash lashes are FDA approved and will not cause any damage to your eyes. Once the application process was over and I opened my eyes, I fell in love. I am obsessed with having long, thick lashes, so I spend a lot of time putting on mascara, but with NovaLash lashes, I have not worn mascara at all but I still LOVE the way I look!
